Argos wanted to encourage its shoppers, from the comfort of their own homes, to explore the benefits of its products in more depth than traditional print or online channels.
ETV set to work planning the launch of a retail TV channel, the first of its kind in the UK to make available over 30,000 products from leading brands across all product categories.
We launched Argos TV which broadcasts 24 hours a day, seven days a week on Sky channel 642.
The channel capitalises on the retailer’s extensive brand connections built up over Argos’s 35 year history, and is the first and only retail TV channel to bring viewers the latest luxury branded products.

ETV’s 40-strong crew produces four hours of live programming every weekday broadcast between 7pm and 11pm, and eight hours of live programming every weekend day broadcast between 3pm and 11pm.
The remainder of the programming schedule is populated with a pre-recorded and meta-tagged library of bite-sized product demos.
We stream Argos TV live to argos.co.uk/tv 24 hours a day so it is uniquely positioned to give customers the ability to ‘Check and Reserve’ products.
Viewers of Argos TV can instantly purchase their product, and collect their purchase from their nearest Argos store on the same day, a service unrivalled by any other UK shopping channel.
