our work
the relationship
In 2010, we partnered with our friends over at Shed-Ricochet to build their first ever branded iPhone application, taking their Supernanny mega brand to a whole new platform.
Helping Channel 4 regularly outperform BBC1 during peak time, the Supernanny TV series regularly commanded UK audiences of over six million viewers. The finished TV series has sold in 50 territories, with the format on air in 16 different countries.
Once the Supernanny TV show had reached critical mass, certainly in the UK and US, the time was right to create a branded application that the fans of the show would not only use but share with other parents.
our idea
We launched the Supernanny iPhone application in the US and UK priced at £2.99/ US$4.99. The app draws on the key elements of the television show to give parents a mobile application to help them both amuse and discipline their kids when out and about or at home.
Fans of the show will enjoy the ‘Naughty Step Timer’, which shows you how long a disobedient child should spend in isolation, dependant on their date of birth.
Also in the style of the ‘Supernanny’ program, each time your child displays good behaviour, they can place a star on their ‘Reward Chart’, which you can personalise. When the chart is complete, a visual reward is shown, with options to email/ text relatives about the child’s achievements!
our highlights
Following a soft launch pre-Christmas 2010, the Supernanny app has seen growing success with excellent consumer reviews so far.
A hard launch and full marketing campaign is now being planned.
